Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely well-known American actress and singer. Her birthplace and childhood was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) who is a nurse and Tom Bell, a television news director. She is the daughter of a Polish as is her father, who is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen was able to show a flair for the arts at an early age on stage. She was just 12 when she appeared at her first audition, and was able to win a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 at the time her mother enrolled as an agent was cast on ads on newspapers and TV. She also started taking private acting classes around that time. Bell was as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music as well as the drama club. She was a part of Dorothy in the school production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts for a musical theater course following her graduation. Bell graduated from college in 2001 when she took the role of Becky to play Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 when Bell's debut appearance was in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part has been cut out and the credits only show her. The year 2002 saw her first major role. Bell was on her first Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
