Jana Kramer bio
Country-pop and actor song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame on television where she joined the cast of One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. The first two albums she made as a singer-songwriter included in episodes of the show that helped her debut album of the same name into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, also reached in the Top Ten. In the last decade, she was a guest as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as she did in TV films and several TV programs. She also released several singles, but they were not albums. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices made its debut. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, grew to love country music. Later she would pursue a record career. However, her debut professional appearance was acting in the indie horror flick Dead/Undead in 2002, when she was still a teenager. Through the years she was on numerous shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the second season (2007-2008). Kramer was then on TV as Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 until 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. Kramer was added to the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre, and she stayed up until the end of the show in 2012, part way through. Jana Kramer Kramer was a character on One Tree Hill from 2009 until the year 2012. Kramer had signed an agreement in 2009 with Elektra Records, and she debuted her contemporary country love track I Won't Give Up on the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. It was featured later on her debut album in the mid-2012 timeframe. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked it among the Top Five. Following a shift to her professional musical career, she continued acting and appeared in films like Heart of the Country 2013 (which was a hit with her fans) as well as Country Crush 2016 (which would be a hit with her music lovers). The second album of Kramer, Thirty One came out by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in the month of October 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet Aerosmith contributed to the album's ability to be even more successful and landed at the third position in the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her appearance on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended with a 4th place final. She also scored an adult contemporary smash by singing the track Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
